Thanks! It has been warm for a few days, but it just surprises me every year how seemingly from one day to the next, buds and baby leaves are everywhere!
Spring is exploding here too. All of a sudden the tips of the branches are swelling and turning green (no leaves yet) and the daffodils and crocuses and other early bulbs are blooming.
I like the contrast of death with an explosion of life.

It seemed like spring arrived in my state today, too! All of a sudden…warmth, green, sun. I love your poem.

That “explosion” is so true! I know the crocuses are any day now. That’s the moment for me.
